It has been more than 60 years since SYSTRA has garnered expertise that spans the entire spectrum of Mass Rapid Transit System SYSTRA India s valuable presence in India roots back to 1957 where SYSTRA worked on the electrification of Indian Railways Our technical excellence holistic approach and the tremendous talent provides a career that puts people who join us at the heart of improving transportation and urban infrastructure efficiency Understand better who we are by visiting www systra in Context In India SYSTRA is an international consulting and engineering company operating in the fields of Metros High Speed Rail Railways Roads Buildings Urban planning and Water Infrastructure for public and private organizations Our unique expertise is backed with a reputation built through technical excellence delivered on projects Our fully integrated services are tailored to plan and manage projects using proven best practices SYSTRA s urban planning work is based on an integrated vision of mobility We assess all relevant issues right from the start of project development including current and future travel requirements urban planning economic and social development and environmental protection SYSTRA has completed 17 000 Square kilometer of Statutory Master Planning and 15 City Development Plans CDPs We are seeking applications for the position of Transportation Planner fo rGIS based Master Plan in Andhra Pradesh Missions Main Duties Transport Planning Analysis Lead the planning analysis and design of transportation systems within urban and regional planning assignments Prepare and review transport models including demand forecasting and scenario analysis for various transportation modes Integrate land use planning with transport solutions to ensure balanced efficient and future-ready development Comprehensive Mobility Planning Contribute to the development of Comprehensive Mobility Plans CMPs and multi-modal transport strategies Support the identification assessment and prioritization of mobility improvements including public transit non-motorized transport traffic management and last-mile connectivity Transport Modeling Develop calibrate and validate transport models travel demand land-use transport integration etc using software such as VISUM Cube TransCAD or similar Analyze the interactions between transport systems and land-use patterns and provide recommendations for integrated solutions Project Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement Coordinate with multidisciplinary team members urban planners engineers GIS specialists etc to ensure transport inputs align with overall project objectives Engage with government agencies municipal bodies data providers and stakeholders to collect relevant transport and land use data Reporting Documentation Prepare technical reports presentations and visualizations of modeling and planning outputs Ensure projects adhere to applicable codes guidelines and client requirements Profile Skills Master s degree in Transportation Planning from an accredited college or university Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in transport planning assignments in metropolitan cities or regions of similar magnitude size and nature in India or abroad Proven experience as a Transport Modeler or Land Use-Transport Modeler in comparable projects Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in preparing Comprehensive Mobility Plans CMPs We commit to put people who join us at the heart of improving transportation and urban infrastructure efficiency As we are growing this is time to be a part of this challenging adventure It s not a job - it s a career
