Key Staffing partners with industrial, manufacturing, and distribution businesses to deliver skilled talent that keeps the world moving. They are hiring a Bookkeeper (REMOTE in Asia) who will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and reconciling accounts to support the financial health of the organization. This role plays a key part in managing journal entries within a fast-paced staffing environment. Key Responsibilities - Maintain and reconcile all financial accounts in QuickBooks Online - Record daily financial transactions, including deposits, expenses, and journal entries - Review accounts payable inputs for accuracy - Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly - Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management - Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial forecasting - Maintain organized digital and physical financial records for audits and compliance - Send weekly financial reports - Manage the monthly close process, including accurate revenue and payroll cutoffs, balance sheet reconciliations, and bank fee and reserve entries - Coordinate with management and external accountants on quarterly and year-end reporting - Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and financial regulations while meeting weekly and monthly deadlines Qualifications - 2+ years of US bookkeeping or accounting experience (staffing industry experience preferred) - Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel - Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines - Strong communication and interpersonal skills The Nuts & Bolts - Employment Type: Permanent, full-time, (paid as a contractor for tax benefits) - Salary: $1000 - $1200 USD per month - Location: 100% remote, Asia - Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week, with 2-4 hours overlap with U.S. hours - Paid vacation: PTO + U.S. federal holidays We want to meet the REAL you To apply, email poornima@welloiledmachine.co a 1-2 min video on your background in US bookkeeping and who you are (We know videos can be awkward and tedious to record - Just be yourself, we want to see your personality shine through )
