Tax Senior Associate (Bookkeeping Focus)Location: Bengaluru, IndiaWork Mode: Hybrid, 3 Days in OfficeExperience Level: 3+ yearsEmployment Type: Full-time✨ About the OpportunityWe’re looking for a Tax Senior Associate (Advantage – Bookkeeping) to join a fast-growing professional services organization that supports US-based small and mid-sized business clients. If you’re passionate about bookkeeping, client service, and want to work in a highly collaborative, growth-focused environment, this role is for you.Role SummaryAs a Tax Senior Associate, you will provide high-quality bookkeeping support for a portfolio of small and mid-sized businesses while working closely with the tax team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys client interaction, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional work that directly supports tax preparation and advisory functions.Key Responsibilities- Manage bookkeeping services for multiple clients - Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts - Enter adjusting journal entries and clean up books for tax preparation - Prepare and share financial reports with clients and the tax team - Handle onboarding and setup of accounts in QuickBooks Online - Collaborate with clients and respond to inquiries - Assist with year-end reporting (including 1099s) - Support special projects as required - Participate in continuous learning, cross-training, and skill development - Build strong relationships internally and externally - Mentor junior team members and contribute to team growth - Participate in team engagement activities that promote work-life balanceQualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience - Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel - Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word) - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Strong client-service orientation with excellent communication skills - High attention to detail, strong analytical ability, and problem-solving mindset - Ability to maintain confidentialityWhat You Can Expect- A supportive work culture focused on transparency and professional development - Opportunities for continuous learning and skills enhancement - Leadership pathways and growth opportunities - A collaborative environment that values initiative and client excellenceIf you're passionate about bookkeeping, love working with clients, and enjoy being part of a team that values quality, growth, and work-life balance, we’d love to connect with you.Apply now and take the next step in your tax and bookkeeping career You can apply here or also share your Resume at swarnali.bhattacherjee@talentmsh.com
