Job Description Job Title: Faculty Coordinator Department: Academic Operations Reporting To: Program Manager Location: Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, India Position Overview: The Faculty Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating seamless coordination between faculties, studio in-charges, and academic operations teams. The role primarily involves managing and scheduling lecture recording sessions, ensuring adherence to academic timelines, and maintaining effective communication across departments. The incumbent will play a key role in supporting the organization's academic delivery and content production processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Faculty Coordination Serve as the central liaison between faculties, academic teams, and studio departments. Communicate schedules, academic guidelines, and content requirements to faculties in a timely manner. Ensure receipt and validation of lecture materials, presentations, and associated academic resources prior to recording sessions. Maintain and update faculty databases, including availability, contact details, and engagement records. 2. Studio Scheduling and Operations Management Coordinate with studio in-charges to plan and schedule lecture shoots in alignment with academic calendars. Develop and circulate comprehensive shoot schedules, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned. Monitor ongoing shoots, ensuring punctuality, preparedness, and adherence to schedules. Address and manage any schedule modifications, reshoots, or unforeseen operational challenges efficiently. 3. Documentation and Reporting Maintain detailed records of scheduled shoots, faculty attendance, and content delivery status. Prepare and share periodic reports summarizing operational progress, completed sessions, and pending deliverables. Track key milestones to ensure project timelines are consistently met. 4. Academic and Production Support Assist in pre-shoot and post-shoot preparations, including faculty briefings, resource arrangements, and content handovers. Liaise with the post-production team for timely review, edits, and approvals of recorded content. Ensure compliance with institutional academic standards and production quality benchmarks. 5. Process Improvement and Quality Control Identify and recommend improvements in scheduling, coordination, and communication processes. Implement standardized operational workflows and templates to enhance efficiency. Support in maintaining operational discipline and ensuring consistency in deliverables. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Management, Education, Mass Communication, or a related discipline. Minimum 13 years of relevant experience in academic coordination, production scheduling, or operations management. Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other scheduling/coordination tools. Ability to collaborate effectively with academic and technical teams in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Attributes: Prior experience in the EdTech, e-learning, or higher education sector. Understanding of video production processes and studio operations. A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a commitment to deadlines and quality.
