As a Chairside Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist to assist in a wide range of dental procedures. This role involves patient preparation, sterilization of instruments, assisting during treatments, and ensuring a clean and organized clinical environment. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates passionate about dental healthcare and eager to begin a career in a professional clinical setting. Freshers are welcome—we provide on-the-job training to help you get started in the dental field.Key Responsibilities:1. Assisting the Dentist: Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures including fillings, root canals, extractions, scaling, and prosthetic fittings. Hand instruments and materials to the dentist as needed during procedures. Operate suction devices, retractors, and other equipment to maintain a clear working field for the dentist. 2. Patient Preparation: Greet and seat patients in the treatment area. Prepare patients for dental procedures by draping and positioning. Ensure patients are comfortable and explain basic procedure steps when needed. 3. Instrument Handling & Sterilization: Sterilize dental instruments using autoclaves or chemical disinfectants before and after each patient. Maintain instrument trays and keep the dental chair unit stocked and clean. Follow strict hygiene and infection control protocols as per clinic standards. 4. Clinic Cleanliness & Maintenance: Clean and disinfect treatment areas before and after each appointment. Keep dental chairs, lighting, and equipment in proper condition. Maintain inventory of dental materials and report low-stock items to the reception or supervisor. 5. Record Keeping: Assist in updating patient records and treatment notes in the clinic management software or as instructed. Organize and prepare case files, x-rays, and lab reports for doctor review. 6. Post-Procedure Assistance: Guide patients with post-treatment care instructions as directed by the dentist. Help in managing patient flow between appointments.
