Job Description :

Finance Executive
Industry: Food Services
Experience: 5 years
Location: Chennai
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced

Finance Executive with strong financial acumen and proven expertise in managing end-to-end finance operations within the food service industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, compliance, and reporting, while ensuring effective cost management and supporting business growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage the overall finance and accounts function including AP/AR, general ledger, reconciliations, and finalization of accounts.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support decision-making for senior management.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other applicable laws.
Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities for audits, financial reporting, and statutory filings.
Monitor and control cost structures and inventory management to maximize profitability.
Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and financial dashboards for management review.
Support business expansion initiatives, feasibility studies, and investment analysis.
Implement strong internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills :

Educational Qualification: CA / CMA / MBA Finance (preferred).
5 years of progressive experience in finance & accounts, with at least 2-3 years in the food services / hospitality / FMCG industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
