Job Description CF Job Title: AI Solutions Engineer Job Function: Sales Support Career Level: P1. 2 to 3 years of Experience Sub-Function: Technical Support Job Type: Full Time/On-site Location: Pune Summary / Role Purpose As an AI Solutions Engineer, you will be a pivotal member within the Ansys Customer Excellence (ACE) team, responsible for bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI research and practical, impactful business solutions by developing high-quality, scalable AI applications. The AI Solutions Engineer will collaborate closely with the ACE team to create innovative AI-driven solutions by leveraging expertise in large language models (LLMs) and a robust set of development tools to design, build, and deploy intelligent applications that address complex challenges and drive significant value. This role requires a blend of strong technical acumen, problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating innovative AI-powered experiences. Requirements Key Duties and Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI solutions, with a particular focus on applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs). Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient Python-based applications and APIs for AI integration. Utilize Azure cloud services for model deployment, data storage, and scalable AI infrastructure. Build interactive and user-friendly front-end applications using Streamlit or similar frameworks to showcase AI capabilities. Develop RESTful APIs using Flask or other frameworks to expose AI functionalities to other systems. Perform testing, debugging, and performance tuning of AI applications. Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and LLM technologies and integrate relevant innovations into our solutions. Document technical designs, processes, and deployments. Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience Required education and degree type: BS or MS in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Required minimum years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS+0. Strong background in foundational AI models and experience working with either commercial or open-source large language models. Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and demonstrable experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications is mandatory. Experience developing and deploying solutions using Python. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. Preferred Qualifications and Skills Preferred education and 2 to 3 years of professional experience in an engineering software environment, particularly in roles focused on AI/ML: BS+2, MS +0 Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages. Experience with agentic frameworks such as AutoGen, LangGraph, etc is a significant plus. Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools (e.g., MLflow, Azure ML). Familiarity with collaboration and version control tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence.
