You can also follow us on LinkedIn and Instagram. Job Summary In this position, your main duty will be to act as the first point of contact for inquiries related to Employment Tax. As you evolve into a Subject Matter Expert, you will work closely with clients, guiding them through complex employment tax issues. This role entails ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, identifying opportunities for tax savings and operational improvements, and ensuring that Employment Tax practices are in sync with the broader business strategy and primary objectives. Key Responsibilities - Preparation of Canada Individual Tax Returns. - Attentive participation in training modules for the same. - Responsible for self-review of deliverables before handing them to Senior Associate / Manager. - Utilize available tax technical resources to enhance international tax knowledge. - Attention to detail, deadline-oriented, and able to manage time. - Adaptability and readiness to contribute to cross-team initiatives. - Respects and maintains confidentiality of client, staff, and firm information. - Communicate progress and project status to all stakeholders. - Knowledge of the firm policies related to confidentiality and data privacy, client acceptance and engagement letters, tax return preparer guidelines, and knowledge sharing. Adhere to practice protocol and other internal processes consistently Qualifications And Experience - Qualification: ACCA - Score Cut Off: 50% across academics (10th, +2, UG, PG) - Eagerness to broaden skills by supporting cross-team initiatives and responsibilities - Good knowledge in Accounting, Finance & Taxation - Good Communication & Analytical skills - Committed, hard-working, ability to work long hours, proactive.
