Job Description – Purchase Executive

Position: Purchase Executive

Location: Faridabad

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech – Mechanical).

Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in the Rubber and Plastic Industry.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong ability to assess and manage vendor performance.
- Excellent attention to detail for accurate tracking and timely delivery.
- Proficient in analytical skills for performance assessment and inventory management.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of procurement compliance and documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vendor Management

- Regular follow-up with vendors to ensure adherence to delivery schedules and quality standards.
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions to optimize procurement costs.
- Evaluate and update vendor ratings periodically.

1. Procurement & Inventory Management

- Ensure timely delivery of materials as per specifications and indents.
- Track urgent orders to avoid production delays.
- Monitor and manage purchase requisitions, indents, and documentation.

1. Payment & Documentation

- Track vendor payments and ensure timely, accurate transactions.
- Maintain proper indent documentation and compliance records.
- Prepare and manage POs, debit notes, and related purchase documents.

1. Coordination & Compliance

- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve vendor and indent-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with procurement standards, minimizing non-compliance in audits.
- Handle import/export documentation when required.
