Position Summary: We are looking for friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Food and Beverage Service Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, taking accurate food and drink orders, serving meals efficiently, and ensuring guests have a pleasant and memorable dining experience. This role is essential to maintaining the service quality and reputation of the restaurant. You will work closely with kitchen staff, bar staff, and fellow team members to ensure that every guest is served with professionalism and warmth.Key Responsibilities:1. Customer Greeting & Seating: Welcome guests in a polite and cheerful manner. Assist guests in finding a suitable table and escort them to their seats. Present menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotional offers. 2. Taking Orders: Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests. Clarify special dietary needs or preferences and communicate them clearly to the kitchen. Make suggestions and upsell items such as starters, desserts, or drinks. 3. Serving Food & Beverages: Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and professional manner. Ensure correct orders are delivered to the right guests. Check in with guests during meals to ensure satisfaction and respond to any issues. 4. Table & Dining Area Management: Prepare tables by setting up cutlery, napkins, glasses, condiments, etc. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area throughout the shift. Clear tables promptly after guests finish dining. 5. Customer Service Excellence: Handle guest complaints or feedback professionally and escalate if necessary. Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, portion sizes, or preparation methods. Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return. 6. Coordination & Teamwork: Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth order delivery. Collaborate with fellow servers, busboys, and cashiers to maintain service flow. Follow the supervisor’s instructions and assist during busy hours or special events. 7. Cash & Billing (if required): Present the bill to customers and handle cash or card transactions accurately. Process payments using POS systems or billing software. Return change or payment slips with courtesy.Required Skills & Competencies:Customer Service Skills: Friendly and approachable attitude.
