This Position reports to: Senior Engineering Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute commissioning activities in all types of project sizes and complexities in close collaboration with the Senior Commissioning Engineer. Each day, you will execute these activities efficiently, cost-effectively, and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. You will also showcase your proficiency by supporting continuous improvement in project processes, products, and system design. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Automation - Energy Division in Peenya, Bangalore, India. You will be mainly accountable for: - Supporting in planning, implementation, and coordination of commissioning activities. - Implementing commissioning design changes and providing mark-ups for as-built project documentation. - Applying standard processes and procedures to ensure all commissioning activities meet contractual requirements. - Conducting risk and opportunity assessments during the commissioning phase and handling technical risks by following mitigation guidelines. Qualifications for the role - B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in any Engineering discipline from a reputed institution - 2-5 years of relevant experience in DCS/PLC commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) - Exposure to process automation projects in Power, Energy, or Water industries - DCS/PLC hardware and software components, including application programming and HMI development/modifications - Practical experience with ABB automation systems such as 800xA, 800M is added advantage. - Good understanding of industrial communication protocols and automation networking - Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English - Willingness to travel up to 70% across PAN India More about us The Energy Industries Division serves a wide range of industrial sectors, including hydrocarbons, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, power generation and water.
