Job Description Job Purpose To plan and institutionalize HR and administration policies and processes at the unit and maintain harmonious Industrial Relations, while ensuring statutory compliance related to labour laws in order to ensure smooth functioning of the unit. Key Result Areas KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters)Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters) KRA1 HR & Admin Planning and Strategy a)Develop robust HR & Admin policies and processes for the unit b)Support in preparing HR and admin Budget c)Develop unit SOP's for HR, Admin and security and ensure implementation of the same d)Establish cost control and wastage control measures to curtail cost e)Ensure smooth functioning of Admin and security function. KRA2 2.Organization Structure & Manpower planning and recruitment a)Continuously monitor and review the organizational structure to ensure the highest level of productivity b)Undertake manpower planning and assess the requirements to design recruitment plans and ensure recruitment implementation as per the plan c)Ensure selection and timely recruitment of suitable candidates for the project (JB 9 and below) d)Direct the induction and on-boarding of new joinees to make joining RCML a very special and memorable experience for new employees Design Organization structure and ensure highest level of productivity. KRA3 3.Organizational Effectiveness a)Ensure participation and engagement of employees for the group and business OD interventions b)Plan unit level OD interventions for employee well being c)Monitor the action plan execution as per BHR guidelines d)Chalk out employee welfare plans and ensure their implementation through supervision e)Ensure overall plan and strategies are aligned for employee's welfare KRA4 4.PMS a)Oversee and ensure the familiarization of all the employees on the PMS process b)Ensure effective Goal setting along with expectation setting of the employees c)Ensure completion of periodical review on agreed timelines and communicate feedback to the employees d)Ensure completion of the annual appraisal process and normalization of performance ratings as per the given guideline KRA5 5.Talent Management & Training a)Lead the roll out of HR processes at the unit and ensure career development and talent management policies and processes are implemented for all employees as per corporate guidelines b)Identify individual and organizational training needs & skills c)Identify Competency gaps and design and direct the implementation of development plan. KRA6 6.Managing Employee exits and retention a)Ensure Exit Interview being conducted for all resignees across all levels and conduct exit interviews for senior level exits b)Analyze the exit details and draw trends as why employee is leaving the unit c)Strategize and implement action plans for employee retention d)Closely monitor and ensure execution of the plans KRA7 7.Industrial Relation Management and statutory compliances a)Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure productive and harmonious employee relations are consistently maintained, in accordance with legislation and codes of practice b)Organize regular meetings with Trade unions and management and ensure timely redressal of workmen grievances c)Ensure congenial relations between union and management and healthy work environment. d)Ensure timely compliance to various statutory and industrial legislations like CMPF., Bonus, Gratuity, Contract Labour (R&A) Act, Apprentice Act, WC Act. etc. KRA8 8.Security a)Ensure hiring the best and most suitable security services from the market. b)Constantly Benchmark security systems followed in other projects. Ensure no security breach and lapse. c)Ensure security of all assets and properties of the organization. d) Strategize intelligence grid. KRA9 9.Compensation a)Study and benchmark with compensation packages offered in the local market and recommend changes in the compensation structure and pay levels to ensure internal and external pay equity and acquire and retain talent b)Determine optimum pay levels for all positions based on location and recommend them for fixing the compensation for the new recruits
