About Four Seasons Four Seasons is powered by our people We are a collective of individuals who crave to become better to push ourselves to new heights and to treat each other as we wish to be treated in return Our team members around the world create amazing experiences for our guests residents and partners through a commitment to luxury with genuine heart We know that the best way to enable our people to deliver these exceptional guest experiences is through a world-class employee experience and company culture At Four Seasons we believe in recognizing a familiar face welcoming a new one and treating everyone we meet the way we would want to be treated ourselves Whether you work with us stay with us live with us or discover with us we believe our purpose is to create impressions that will stay with you for a lifetime It comes from our belief that life is richer when we truly connect to the people and the world around us About the location In the heart of Worli - the business hub of Indias largest city and close to the entertainment and commercial district of Lower Parel Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai is a chic urban oasis with an intimate boutique atmosphere The brand s first hotel in India Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai echoes Powerhouse Luxury in the city that never sleeps Known for unparalleled food beverage options such as those at AER Mumbai an award-winning rooftop bar as well as San Qi a city-favourite pan-Asian restaurant with wine bar private dining rooms four open-style kitchens overseen by master craftsmen and an extensive menu offering Indian Chinese Thai and Japanese delicacies Basic Function Responsible for the day to day patrolling of public and employee areas ensuring that losses from whatever source and by whatever means are minimized security policies maintained and Health and Safety regulations observed Security Officers are not armed and they serve as a deterrent and prevention Role and Responsibilities To patrol the public areas regularly including the guest floors and back of house areas together with the perimeter of the hotel and grounds car park pool and beach to prevent intrusion by unauthorized people or undesirables To challenge any people discovered during such patrols who arouse suspicion and check their credentials in a discreet manner in keeping with the style of the property To control the staff entrance and conduct regular on-the-spot baggage checks of staff and contractors exiting the building To ensure during routine patrols that health and safety regulations are being observed and that all fire regulations are met To routinely check the security of all storerooms and offices To document any crime or incident which has taken place including the completion and filing of theft loss damage reports and electronic security logs To document and investigate any incidents reported To liase with the Health and Safety Officer to ensure that steps needed to prevent recurrence are effected To provide advice to employees and management of the hotel on loss prevention and contribute to departmental training To have a complete understanding of the hotels credit policy To investigate any reported fraud such as walkouts etc and report to senior management To accept and secure items of lost property attempting to restore these items to the rightful owner As a key member of the hotels emergency response team to be fully familiar with the evacuation procedures including the Fire panel and participate as a floor fire officer as required To monitor and control the issue of all hotel master keys To open repair room safes and the safety deposit boxes To receive deliveries of goods from outside the normal hours of the Loading Bay and Purchasing staff and ensure the safe arrival of the goods to their intended recipient To be available to administer emergency first aid treatment to staff and guests injured or taken ill and arrange follow-up medical attention as necessary To open staff lockers when necessary and conduct locker checks when required in conjunction with the HR department To make senior management immediately aware of any incident or unusual event To be the contact person for any of the emergency services responding to the hotel To perform any additional tasks requested by the Head of Department the Assistant Head of Department the Security Supervisors or any member of the Executive Office and Planning Committee Skills and Abilities Good interpersonal and communication skills Excellent guest relations and management skills Education Graduate from recognizes university
