Job Description We are looking to hire, Designation : Applications Engineer Reporting to : Senior Development Manager Roles & Responsibilities: As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products. Essential/Required Skills: - 1 to 3 years programming experience in Java/J2EE and related technologies, Oracle DB, SQL and PL/SQL Programming - Ability to work with a variety of extended teams, including developers, designers, product managers, technical writers, marketers, technical support personnel and customers in a cooperative, yet fast-paced environment - Excellent software architecture, implementation, and problem solving skills - Familiarity with standard professional software development processes including source code control, unit testing, and code reviews - Experience developing using object-oriented design - Developing packaged software (as opposed to professional service engagements)
