Job Description Work Level: Junior Leadership Core: Organized, Responsible/ Dependable, Working Independently, Keeping Deadlines Leadership: Delivering Results Industry Type: Medical Devices & Equipment Function: Accountant / Accounts Executive Key Skills: GST,TDS,Accounting,Accounts,Billing Education: Graduate Note: This is a requirement for one of the Workassist Hiring Partner. Primary Responsibility: Assist with GST filings, reconciliations, and return preparation. Support in TDS calculation, deduction, payment & returns. We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Accounts Intern who has a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and is eager to gain hands-on experience in real-world financial operations. Key Responsibilities: - Help in the incorporation of companies and understanding ROC compliances. - Prepare and finalize financial statements and accounts under supervision. - Assist in Income Tax Return (ITR) filing for individuals and companies. - Support the statutory and internal audit processes. - Handle bank reconciliations and maintain strong banking documentation. - Maintain compliance calendars and assist with timely filing. - Work with senior accountants and auditors on regular accounting and compliance activities. Qualification: - Must have working knowledge of: - GST - TDS - Finalization of Accounts - ITR Filing - Company Audit - Banking operations - ROC / Compliance knowledge - Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn. - Good communication skills and ability to work in a team. - Proficient in MS Excel, Tally, or other accounting software is a plus.
