We're Hiring an MDM Architect for a Leading IT Services Company

At BeGig, we connect top freelance tech talent with innovative businesses. One of our clients—a leading IT services provider—is looking for an MDM Architect to design and implement scalable Master Data Management (MDM) solutions for enterprise clients.

They're seeking a skilled MDM Architect to join them on a full-time contract and lead end-to-end MDM implementations across multiple domains like Customer, Product, Supplier, and Location data.

This is your chance to:

Lead large-scale MDM implementations (5-6 projects)

Design and optimize MDM, ETL, and Data Quality solutions

Work with leading MDM tools like Informatica, Trillium, and OEDQ

Develop real-time and batch-based MDM architectures

Collaborate with enterprise clients on MDM strategy and best practices

About the Role

Job Role: MDM Architect

Type: Contract

Duration: 2months

Industry: IT Services

Mode: Remote(Resource needs to travel to Chennai (client location) during the gig)

Commitment: 8 hrs per day

Key Responsibilities

- Architect and implement MDM solutions for enterprise IT environments
- Design and optimize data models for MDM systems
- Develop hierarchies, match/merge processes, and GUI frameworks
- Implement various MDM models (Customer, Product, Supplier, Location, Asset)
- Define data governance strategies and best practices
- Integrate MDM with Data Warehouses using Embarcadero, Erwin, or Power Designer
- Work with ETL tools (Informatica PowerCenter, Talend, DataStage)
- Ensure data quality using Informatica IDQ, Trillium, or OEDQ
- Optimize batch and real-time processing architectures
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to convert business requirements into technical designs
- Create process flow diagrams, business requirement documents, and technical documentation
- Stay updated on MDM trends, technologies, and best practices

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as an MDM Architect with multiple implementations

Strong expertise in MDM, ETL, and Data Quality tools

Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB

Knowledge of Java and SIF programming for MDM integration

Experience in Big Data environments and MDM on Data Lakes

Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance

Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to guide teams, engage with clients, and drive MDM decisions
