Job Title: Senior IT Administrator Location: Ahmedabad Timings: 11 AM to 08 PM Objective of the Job: To ensure seamless operation, maintenance, and security of the organization's IT systems, networks, hardware, and software, providing timely support and technical expertise to meet business needs effectively. Scope: Responsible for the complete administration of IT infrastructure, including network management, server configuration, cybersecurity, data backup, user support, and IT asset management across all departments. Roles & Responsibilities: - Manage and monitor all installed systems, servers, and network infrastructure. - Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, hardware, and enterprise applications. - Ensure the highest levels of system, data, and network availability. - Maintain and implement security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies. - Create and manage user accounts, roles, and permissions in Active Directory. - Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues promptly. - Perform regular system audits, patch management, and security updates. - Maintain and update IT asset inventories, licensing, and documentation. - Provide end-user support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues. - Liaise with vendors and service providers for IT procurement, AMC, and technical support. - Enforce IT policies and ensure compliance with organizational standards. - Support implementation of new technologies and IT automation initiatives. Essential Educational & Experience Qualification: - Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Applications / Information Technology / Computer Engineering. - 7+ years of experience in IT administration, system/network management, or related technical support roles. Necessary Technical / Functional Skills: - Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure management and cybersecurity practices. - Expertise in Windows and Linux server environments. - Proficiency with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies. - Hands-on experience with firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs. - Familiarity with cloud environments (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS, Azure). - Troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and root cause analysis. Required Behavioral Competencies: - Integrity and accountability. - Effective communication and collaboration. - Problem-solving and decision-making skills. - Adaptability to emerging technologies. - Ownership and proactive attitude. Preferred Knowledge and Competencies: - Cloud computing and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V). - Data backup and disaster recovery management. - Experience with network monitoring and endpoint security tools. - Strong documentation and reporting ability.
