What You'll Do: Avalara Professional Services is looking for an Associate Project Manager to lead conversations and gather the appropriate information for implementing Avalara software with customers' Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), retail, and e-commerce solutions to support their tax compliance needs. You will work with the customer to better understand their business and lead a team of specialized resources to set up the different Avalara products on behalf of the customer. This is an excellent opportunity for you to join a group of professionals dedicated to exceeding customer expectations in delivering sales and using tax automation services. What Your Responsibilities Will Be: Roles and Responsibilities: - Responsible for the overall planning, direction, coordination, execution, control and completion of assigned projects. - Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant partners and ensuring technical feasibility. - Develop and deliver to customers a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress - Monitor client projects to keep projects moving forward. Report and escalate. - Leverage and expertise to elicit requirements and document related business processes; propose/understand best practices for sales and use tax automation programs. - Manage the relationship with the client, consulting team, Avalara partners and all partners. - Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation - Assist clients and functional consultants with developing and executing testing plans and procedures. - Support the sales and account management teams in selling additional tax solutions and professional services. What You'll Need to be Successful: Qualifications - 2+ years of experience with multiple ERP and e-commerce solutions with a focus on sales order/invoicing processes. - Strong Ability to understand and conceptualize process workflow. - Willingness to work in night shifts (5:30 pm onwards). - Location: Pune (Viman Nagar) Avalara is an AI-first Company: AI is embedded in our workflows, decision-making, and products.
