Project is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of all airside terminal and landside projects This role involves leading cross-functional project teams ensuring compliance with project budgets timelines and quality standards and delivering projects that align with the strategic goals of the airport s master plan The role requires a strong focus on project management stakeholder coordination risk management sustainability and regulatory compliance Responsibilities Strategic Project Planning Execution Lead the strategic planning development and execution of select large-scale airport infrastructure projects ensuring alignment with the airport s master plan and business objectives Identify and implement innovative project management methodologies and tools to enhance efficiency mitigate risks and optimize project outcomes Establish and oversee project governance frameworks ensuring compliance with company policies industry regulations and quality standards Develop and track key project performance indicators KPIs to measure project success and identify areas for improvement Project Delivery Execution Manage end-to-end execution of airport construction expansion and modernization projects ensuring adherence to scope timelines and budget Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including consultants contractors and government authorities to facilitate seamless project execution Oversee risk management initiatives proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks that could impact project delivery Ensure adherence to high-quality construction standards sustainability goals and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle Financial Resource Management Prepare detailed project budgets monitor ongoing costs and ensure financial control throughout the project lifecycle Monitor project CAPEX OPEX and resource allocation to maintain profitability Provide accurate and timely financial reports to senior management ensuring transparency and accountability in project spending Conduct financial performance analysis and post-project evaluations to ensure projects meet financial goals and ROI targets Stakeholder Engagement Act as the primary point of contact for key internal stakeholders including senior management legal compliance finance and operations teams Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders including investors developers contractors government agencies and regulatory bodies Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met fostering a cohesive and efficient work environment Work closely with the marketing and leasing teams to ensure alignment between development plans and commercial strategies Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management Ensure all projects comply with local state and federal regulations including environmental safety zoning and construction codes Oversee the permitting and licensing process for each project ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained in a timely manner Develop and implement risk management strategies to address potential issues that could impact project timelines costs or quality Lead efforts in compliance with sustainability and environmental standards minimizing environmental impact during project execution Team Leadership and Development Lead mentor and develop a high-performing team of project managers engineers and technical staff Foster a culture of innovation collaboration and excellence within the project management team Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance skills and professional growth Set clear goals and KPIs for the team and monitor performance to ensure project success Sustainability Integrate sustainability principles into construction and development projects including carbon reduction energy efficiency and waste management Lead initiatives to achieve green certifications and promote environmental stewardship Digital Mindset Innovation Foster a digital-first approach by utilizing advanced technologies like Building Information Modeling BIM digital project management tools and data analytics Promote the adoption of innovative solutions for sustainability and operational efficiency Key Stakeholders - Internal Chief Executive Officer - CSD Chief Projects Officer COO CFO CCO CDO Project Management Team Departmental Heads Operations Finance HR Marketing Board of Directors Engineering and Operations Teams Commercial Team Safety and Compliance Team IT and Systems Support Finance Department Human Resources Key Stakeholders - External Government Regulatory Authorities e g Civil Aviation Authority Contractors and Subcontractors Consultants Project Management Design Engineering Suppliers and Vendors Investors and Financial Institutions Architects and Design Firms Construction and Facility Management Companies Local and National Authorities e g Municipal Planning Urban Development External Auditors and Inspectors Commercial Partners e g Retail Hospitality Real Estate Environmental and Sustainability Consultants Community Groups and Local Residents Qualifications Education Qualification Bachelor s or Master s degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management Architecture or a related field Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional PMP LEED Accreditation or equivalent are preferred Work Experience 15 years of experience in construction project management with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale infrastructure and real estate development projects Proven experience in managing Airports projects within the aviation or transportation sector
