What are we looking for? We are seeking detail-oriented Business Analysts with strong domain knowledge in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Life Sciences processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and functional design for LIMS implementations, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. What do we require? - Overall experience: 5–10 years, with at least 3+ years in LIMS-related projects for Life Sciences clients. - Core expertise: - Hands-on experience with LIMS platforms (LabWare, LabVantage, Thermo Fisher SampleManager, STARLIMS,). - Strong understanding of Life Sciences processes: R&D, Quality Control (Small molecules and large molecule) Manufacturing, Regulatory Compliance. - Knowledge of GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and other regulatory requirements. - Business Analysis Skills: - Conduct requirements workshops, document user stories, and create functional specifications. - Perform gap analysis, process mapping, and support validation activities. - Technical & Functional Skills: - Familiarity with integration points between LIMS and ERP, MES, CDS, and lab instruments. - Understanding of data migration and validation protocols. - Soft Skills: - Excellent communication and documentation skills. - Ability to engage with business and IT stakeholders effectively. - Tools: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, and requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM). What will you do? At Infosys Consulting, you will: - Act as Business Analyst for LIMS implementation projects, bridging business needs and technical solutions. - Gather and document business requirements, translate them into functional specifications. - Support solution design, testing, and validation activities. - Collaborate with project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure successful delivery. - Assist in training and change management for end-users. - Contribute to firm-building initiatives, including developing templates and best practices for LIMS projects.
