Digital Buildings Global Engineering Centre GEC BMS Graphics ManagerOur mission in Schneider Electric is to be the digital partner for Sustainability and Efficiency We drive digital transformation by integrating world-leading process and energy technologies end-point to cloud connecting products controls software and services across the entire lifecycle enabling integrated company management for homes buildings data centres infrastructure and industries We are the most local of global companies We are advocates of open standards and partnership ecosystems that are passionate about our shared Meaningful Purpose Inclusive and Empowered values The mission in the GEC is to drive the strategic transformation of the engineering function within the Digital Buildings systems project business to increase our competitiveness improve our margins through establishing a collaborative working relationship between the Country and our Global Engineering Centre for BMS in India What is the roleTeam Leader role based in Bangalore Preferred and reporting to GEC LeaderAn exciting and challenging role for BMS Graphics Managerto join our team Key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to Ability to understand and interpret sequences of operation plant schematics and system architecture to create graphics as per standards defined Work experience in global projects and or in global engineering centers will be considered as an advantage Minimum 6-10 years of experience as a BMS Graphics Team Lead Experience in generation of Floorplan graphics Equipment graphics and Network layouts IN Visio AUTOCAD other Applications Exposure to HVAC domain systems and applications like Air Handling Units Chiller Boiler Systems Variable Air Volume Boxes etc and ability to engineer a turnkey solution around them Command on communication to interact single-handedly with global customers understand requirements and translate them to deliverables Knowledge of building management system protocols like BACnet LonWorks Modbus OPC and others Working knowledge and understanding of basic electrical engineering concepts Ability to perform functionality checks as per requirements and specifications Ability to ensure quality defect free deliverables on time deliveries with customer satisfaction Basic knowledge of software to integrate graphics with application Knowledge on third party tools used globally for graphic standards of tools Familiarity with standard progress reporting tools and processes will be an added advantage Collaborate with design and software team for effective and timely delivery of graphics Ability to motivate and lead a team of graphics designers Experience in Manging partners delivering graphics work Experince of working in a high growth environment with solid exmaples to inovative solutions offered to customers using latest BMS offerings technology Ability to work in a performance driven culture What are we looking forWe at Global Engineering Center - an engineering excellence point of contact that provide turnkey BMS engineering solutions to SE branches across the world - are looking for someone who gets excited by innovation We need someone who is tech-savvy and is happy to discover as well as learn new systems is self-driven and confident to work for a value-based organization whose solutions are cutting edge We need an engineer who is focused collaborative and passionate about sustainability outcomes We do not want to narrow the field however we do believe that instrumental to your success in this role will be the following skills Bachelors degree in Instrumentation Engineering Electrical Engineering Electronics Telecommunication Engineering Mechanical Engineering Proven experience in BMS Graphics development with know-how of software programming in field of healthcare life sciences and data center Prior experience of working for global projects on high complex graphics will be an added advantage Ability to work in remote offshore teams situated across time zones Knowledge of engineering design and control Certifications in Industry graphic standards Understanding Revit files MS Visio MS Office AUTOCAD Adobe PDF Scripting skills are necessary Product Lines Building Management System BMS SCADA DDC Location Bangalore preferred QualificationsB E Mechanical HVAC Electronics Communication Instrumentation
