Company Description At TAPI we re not just a company we re a community committed to advancing health from the core As the world s leading supplier of active pharmaceutical ingredients APIs we partner with 80 of the top 50 global pharmaceutical companies With a legacy spanning over 80 years and a portfolio of more than 350 products as well as custom CDMO services we re shaping the future of health worldwide Our strength lies in our people a team of over 4 200 professionals across 13 state-of-the-art facilities in Italy Hungary the Czech Republic Croatia Israel Mexico and India Together we innovate solve problems and deliver excellence Join us and be part of a mission that transforms lives We re looking for a vigilant EHS Process Safety Leader with a strong command of regulatory compliance risk analysis and industrial hygiene If you excel in implementing safety systems conducting HAZOPs and audits managing hazardous materials and driving emergency preparedness and training programs this opportunity to elevate safety culture and performance at a high-impact manufacturing site is for you Key Responsibilities - What you will be doing 1 Responsible for identification and ensuring compliance of regulatory requirements applicable to the site 2 Prepare and update compliance calendar for site and submit report of the same periodically 3 Ensure effective implementation of Process Safety Management system in all the process areas 4 Responsible for conducting process risk analysis by conducting HAZOPs for new process products at various stages product life cycles 5 Conduct Job Safety Analysis Safety Audits and Surveys in various plants areas 6 Stringent management of changes taking place at site Continuous awareness amongst employees to capture EHS aspects during any changes 7 Ensure best industrial hygiene practices are followed at site To conduct qualitative and quantitative exposure analysis for the activities at the site 8 Analyze accidents incidents near miss incidents to find the root cause suggest remedial measures and monitor for completion of corrective and preventive actions 9 Prepare procedures SOPs for the implementation of the Safety Management System at site in line with global standards and guidelines 10 Formulate Procedures Guidelines Work instructions for the safely handling Hazardous Chemicals materials their storages and safe disposal 11 Ensure healthiness of Fire protection system and other emergency equipment for all potential hazard storages installations processes 12 Prepare and update site emergency plan and update the same time to time 13 Conduct firefighting training and emergency plan training to all employees 14 Conduct Pre-start up safety reviews at the facility 15 Guide team of safety professionals for excellence in EHS performance 16 Prepare HAZMAT and MOCK drill procedures and conduct the periodical drills in the plant 17 Prepare site PPE matrix and select and provide proper PPE and Emergency safety equipments for employees 18 Conduct workplace monitoring in plants to identify the hazards and suggest remedial measures 19 Identify training needs of the site and implementation of training calendar for employees and contractors Conduct Training for the employees 20 Drive contractor safety management at site Review safety performance of contract employees and identify improvement opportunities 21 Effective implementation of work permit system and LOTO system in plant 22 Prepare and maintain the area risk register and ensure risk control measures are implemented at site 23 Monitor performance of the waste treatment and management facility Qualifications The ideal candidate must be Education B Tech Chemical or M Sc Chem Experience 12 to 15 years of industrial experience We are ideally looking for candidates coming from API Chemical Specialty Chemical Industry Key Skills Good understanding of EHS statutory requirements process safety and Safety procedures Industrial Hygiene Good trainer Understanding of GMP Additional Information Make Your Mark with TAPI Your journey with TAPI is more than a job it s an opportunity to make a lasting impact on global health If you re ready to lead innovate and inspire we re excited to welcome you to our team Together let s shape the future of pharmaceuticals Apply on top of this page and our talent acquisition team will be in touch soon
