Senior Ruby Backend Developer

REMOTE - Noida India

Note : There will be over lap with USA PST timezone (3-4 hrs)

- Strong proficiency in Ruby (language fundamentals, idioms, metaprogramming)
- Deep understanding of OOP, mixins, blocks, procs, and lambdas
- Familiarity with memory management, GC tuning, and performance profiling
- experience with frameworks like Ruby on Rails,Grape ActiveRecord, ActiveJob, ActionCable, ActiveModel validations, Engines, initializers, routing, and lifecycle callbacks
- Comfortable deploying and optimizing Passenger, Thin
- Deeper understanding of Thread vs. process models, Connection handling, worker tuning, memory profiling
- PostgreSQL and advanced usage of ActiveRecord
- Experience optimizing N+1 queries, indexes, and query plans
- Proficient with Bundler, Rake, Rubygems
- Gem building and custom gem publishing
- Knowledge of RVM, rbenv, chruby
