About the Company:
We are a newly launched pharmaceutical company with a vision to establish a strong footprint in the Indian pharmaceutical industry. With a focus on Acute and Sub Chronic Therapies, we aim to deliver high-quality healthcare solutions across the country. To drive our growth, we are looking for a National Sales Manager (NSM) – India who can develop and execute strategic sales plans, build a strong sales team, and expand our presence across India.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement a pan-India sales strategy to ensure business growth and market penetration. Provide mid to long term strategic insights to management
Sales Team Management: Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team, including Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Area Sales Managers (ASMs), to achieve revenue targets. Create winning sales culture right from inception
Doctor & KOL Engagement: Leverage existing relationships and establish new connections with key doctors, hospitals, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across India to promote and drive prescription sales.
Market Expansion: Identify business opportunities, drive product reach, and ensure a competitive edge in the pharmaceutical industry.
Distributor & Channel Management: Develop strong relationships with stockists, distributors, and supply chain partners to ensure smooth business operations.
Performance Analysis: Monitor sales data, analyze market trends, and implement corrective actions to optimize performance.
Compliance & Ethical Sales Practices: Ensure 100% adherence to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
Regional & Language Expertise: Understand the market dynamics of different regions, particularly South India, and communicate fluently in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and English (Malayalam is a plus).
Key Requirements:
Experience: 10-15 years in pharmaceutical sales, with a strong background in Acute and Mild Chronic Therapies.
Pan-India Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical market across India, including metro cities and Tier 2/3 regions.
Network & Relationships: Established contacts with key doctors, hospitals, and KOLs across India.
Leadership & People Management: Proven track record of building, training, and leading high-performing sales teams.
Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Ability to assess market trends, competition, and sales data to devise actionable strategies.
Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and English (Malayalam is an advantage).
Travel Readiness: Will be based in Bangalore but requires frequent travel across India.
