Job Requirements: Position: State Head - Sales Industry: Oil & Gas Work Experience: Prefer 10 years of experience in retail sales Location: Guwahati, Assam [This position is open only to candidates based in Guwahati or other parts of Northeast India . Applications from outside this region will not be considered.] CTC: As per Industry Standards Key Responsibilities: Drive overall sales strategy and execution for the North East region Take full ownership of regional sales targets and ensure consistent achievement Develop and implement plans to maximize market penetration and secure maximum market share Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team across the region Identify new channel partners, distributors, and business opportunities to expand the footprint Build strong relationships with key channel partners, customers, and internal stakeholders Conduct regular market visits to understand ground realities and support the field team Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and present findings to senior management Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new sales opportunities Skills Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Persuasion and negotiation expertise Strong knowledge of the retail distribution model and regional market dynamics Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Strong leadership with strategic, analytical, and result-oriented decision-making skills Suitable Candidates can also apply on recruitment@pensol.com
