Job Description

Our client 'Oppdoor' is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Business Finance candidate to oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. This role is crucial in driving financial efficiency, supporting business decision-making, and ensuring optimal resource allocation. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, data-driven decision-making skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

1. Develop and oversee financial models to support business strategy.

2. Prepare and analyze forecasts, budgets, and financial reports.

3. Identify key financial trends and provide insights to management.

Business Performance Monitoring:

1. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend actions for improvement.

2. Analyze revenue, costs, profitability, and operational efficiencies.

3. Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for cost control.

Strategic Decision Support:

1. Provide financial insights for strategic initiatives, new business opportunities, and expansion plans.

2. Support investment analysis, mergers, acquisitions, and capital expenditures.

3. Assist in pricing strategies, cost optimization, and revenue maximization.

Risk Management & Compliance:

1. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.

2. Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.

3. Collaborate with auditors, tax consultants, and legal teams.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

1. Work closely with business leaders, sales, and operations teams to align financial goals with business objectives.

2. Provide financial training and insights to non-finance stakeholders.

3. Support fundraising and investor relations as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: MBA in Finance

Experience: 1+ years of experience in e-commerce industry

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Soft Skills:

1.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

2. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

3. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

4.Industry Experience: Experience in [insert relevant industry, e.g., SaaS, Manufacturing, E-commerce, Healthcare] is preferred.
