Title And Summary Senior Product Manager - Technical Background Mastercard is on a journey to modernize and advance our Finance Technology landscape, covering Billing, Financial Planning, Accounting, Settlement, Treasury, Reporting and Analytics. This position will be responsible for developing and delivering high-impact technology solutions that align with our business and technical objectives. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business/product owners and other technical experts, you will ensure that our solutions meet evolving customer needs while improving performance, scalability, and reliability. Ideal candidates will answer yes to all the following questions: - Have you worked in an agile development team - Do you understand the standard SDLC process - Do you have exposure and understanding of Data Warehouse, Data lakehouse, data analytics, BI, AI / ML concepts - Do you have experience playing role of a Business analyst / Product manager in projects in the space of data analytics, BI / Visualization, AI / ML - Do you have sound analytical skills - Do you have sound understanding of Product principles - Are you passionate about using technology to deliver quality solutions providing superior customer experience - Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to learn new skills and applications quickly Role & Responsibilities - Work with business teams to understand their business / product requirements and document them - Contribute in building product roadmaps. - Define and describe the details behind the business requirements, specifications, and user experience as defined in the Product Roadmap. Prioritize them into features and user stories. - Contribute with functional and technical knowledge towards design and development of high quality, secure, scalable data solutions / products based on functional requirements specifications and within expected time and budget - Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g. Project Management, Development, business, platform, etc.) to deliver new products that drive incremental revenues for Mastercard. - Understands business context and market dynamics including Regulatory, Legal, Competitive and Technology landscapes. - Drive institutionalized knowledge through the use of consistent product documentation - Optimizing the approach by being experts in their domain and providing insight into tradeoffs and what will ultimately be built. - Stay abreast of Analytics technology trends - Participate in all discussions, prioritization, iteration planning, and feature sizing meetings - Test the product / delivery and then provide support during System and User Acceptance Testing - Adhere to Agile processes and participate actively in agile ceremonies All About You - 8+ years of experience in similar role (Product management / Business Analyst) in IT. Proven experience in Requirements management (in Rally / Jira), Business analysis, Data warehousing, on-prem / cloud based data platforms. - Experience playing role of a Business analyst / Product manager in projects in the space of data analytics, BI / Visualization, AI / ML - Strong RDBMS understanding and SQL. - Hands on in one or more analytics tools like Tableau, Power BI and other similar. - Exposure to cloud and data platforms Databricks / Snowflake, AWS / Azure. - Practical understanding of Product management and Product development principles. - Strong product mindset. - Have product build out mindset and prior experience in supporting technology teams building products - Exposure and understanding of complete SDLC - Good communication skill is mandatory Corporate Security Responsibility All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must: - Abide by Mastercard's security policies and practices; - Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed; - Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and - Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard's guidelines.
