Company Overview Cotton Concepts CC headquartered in Coimbatore Tamil Nadu specializes in home textiles made from sustainable materials like Recycle Cotton Organic Cotton Bamboo Linen and Hemp With a strong emphasis on design curation and product development CC is dedicated to manufacturing eco-friendly products As a leader in the Home Textiles industry CC is committed to innovative solutions and maintaining the highest standards in textile production Job Overview Cotton Concepts is seeking a Junior Art Work Designer for our Home Textiles division in Coimbatore This full-time position demands a creative designer with a solid foundation in artwork design computer-aided design and textile design The right candidate should possess 1 to 3 years of experience in the field with a passion for developing contemporary and unique textile patterns Qualifications and Skills The candidate must have exceptional artwork design skills to create innovative and appealing designs for home textiles Mandatory skill Proficiency in computer-aided design is crucial to effectively develop and modify intricate textile patterns Mandatory skill Expertise in textile design ensuring designs are both aesthetically pleasing and technically feasible Mandatory skill Strong proficiency in surface design allowing for the creation of textures and patterns that enhance product appeal Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator for precise and scalable graphic creation essential for detailed design work Experience in using Adobe Photoshop for editing and creating high-quality images and artwork for diverse applications Ability to create mood boards that effectively communicate the visual and conceptual direction of a project to stakeholders Competency in technical drawing to produce detailed and accurate representations of design concepts for manufacturing Roles and Responsibilities Develop original artwork and design concepts for home textile products that align with the company s vision and market trends Collaborate with the product development team to refine designs and ensure feasibility throughout the manufacturing process Utilize CAD tools to create detailed schematics and specifications for textile patterns and layouts Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends to keep designs fresh and competitive Create mood boards to present and validate design concepts to clients and internal teams Work closely with production teams to ensure that designs are accurately translated into final products Prepare and maintain organized records of all design work for easy reference and continuous improvement Engage in regular feedback sessions to iteratively improve design outcomes and meet client expectations
