Salesforce CPQ Developer

Job title : Salesforce CPQ Developer Location: Remote Work Hours: Primarily IST with overlap into PST This is a 100% remote role. The client is US-based, so the primary working hours will align with the Indian time zone, with some overlap required with PST. Key Responsibilities: ● Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions for pricing, billing, and contract management using Salesforce CPQ and Billing. ● Customize pricing models, discount structures, and subscription billing processes within Salesforce. ● Implement automated contract lifecycle management (CLM), including contract creation, approval workflows, renewals, and amendments. ● Develop and optimize Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows to enhance system functionality. ● Integrate Salesforce CPQ & Billing with ERP, payment gateways, and third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs. ● Work closely with 3rd party vendors, sales, finance, and legal teams and IT Business Systems Analysts to understand requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions. ● Ensure compliance with revenue recognition (ASC 606/IFRS 15) and financial reporting standards. ● Maintain security, data integrity, and system performance within Salesforce. ● Troubleshoot and resolve CPQ, billing, and contract-related issues efficiently. ● Stay updated with Salesforce releases, CPQ/Billing best practices, and industry trends. Required Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field. ● 4+ years of Salesforce development experience, with a focus on CPQ, Billing, and Contract Management. ● Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ, Billing, Revenue Cloud, and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM). ● Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and Flows. ● Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP (Netsuite), accounting, and payment processing systems (Stripe). ● Understanding of subscription billing models, usage-based pricing, and revenue recognition (ASC 606/IFRS 15) at a SaaS company. ● Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (CPQ Specialist certification is a plus). ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
