Risk OPERATIONAL RISK TEAM INTERNAL USAGE No of Vacancies Reports to Is a Team leader Y N Team Size Grade Manager Business Corporate Center Department Risk Sub-Department - Location CO- Mumbai About Risk The Risk department ensures that the Bank s risk is managed through a risk management architecture as well as through policies and processes approved by the Board of Directors encompassing independent identification measurement and management of risks across the various businesses of the Bank The Risk department of the Bank strives to proactively anticipate vulnerabilities at the transaction as well as at the portfolio level through quantitative or qualitative examination of the embedded risks About the Role The Operational risk team ensures that the operational risk exposure of the bank is in compliance with the overall risk appetite and philosophy of the Bank as defined by the Board of Directors The team also ensures compliance to the Operational Risk Management ORM policy and processes defined by the bank Key Responsibilities Conduct Analytics of KRIs and Loss Data Responsible for implementation and framing of policies frameworks for the Advance Measurement Approach AMA Responsible for Communication Submission to RBI about AMA Run the Capital Computation Model for the Bank Co-ordinate with external consultants who validate the AMA and identify any gaps and provide solutions for the same Conduct workshop to help understand scenario analysis Qualifications Optimal qualification for success on the job is MBA Finance from a recognized institute 4 years of relevant experience in the banking Risk consultancy sector Role Proficiencies For successful execution of the job the candidate should possess Thorough Understanding about AMA and Operational Risk Good communication both verbal and written skill in both English and the local language Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines Skills Refer to the About Company Axis Bank is the third largest private sector bank in India The Bank offers the entire spectrum of financial services to customer segments covering Large and Mid-Corporates MSME Agriculture and Retail Businesses The Bank has a large footprint of 4 594 domestic branches including extension counters with 11 333 ATMs 5 710 cash recyclers spread across the country as on 31st March 2021 The Bank has 6 Virtual Centres and has over 1500 Virtual Relationship Managers as on 31st March 2021 The Overseas operations of the Bank are spread over eight international offices with branches at Singapore Dubai at DIFC and Gift City-IBU representative offices at Dhaka Dubai Abu Dhabi Sharjah and an Overseas subsidiary at London UK The international offices focus on Corporate Lending Trade Finance Syndication Investment Banking and Liability Businesses
