Job Description

As a Business Analyst Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in leveraging data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with our experienced team of business analysts and data scientists to extract, analyze, and interpret data that will drive business improvements. This internship is an excellent opportunity to develop your analytical and SQL skills in a real-world business setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and requirements
- Utilize SQL to extract and manipulate data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and data warehouses
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and reliability
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and reports to support ongoing business operations and decision-making
- Analyze data trends, patterns, and anomalies to identify insights and opportunities for process improvement
- Assist in creating and presenting data visualizations and reports to communicate findings effectively
- Contribute to ad-hoc analysis and special projects as needed

Qualification

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proficiency in SQL and experience in querying and analyzing relational database
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to details
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Basic understanding of statistical concepts and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
