We are an exciting young company with a goal to replace imports with quality Made in India goods made of Silicone and other rubber. We operate in the Home and Kitchen, Baby, Arts and Crafts and Lifestyle spaces. We require a dynamic, self motivated, high energy individual to help take our products through the development stages.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the Product Journey: Manage products from design to production. Ensure smooth transitions between stages, and tackle any hurdles along the way.
2. Testing & Evaluation: Oversee testing of prototypes to ensure they meet quality standards, durability, and customer expectations. Work with teams to adjust based on results.
3. Cross-Functional Teamwork: Work with design, prototyping, and production teams to refine product designs for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
4. Tool Transition: Ensure smooth movement from single-cavity to multi-cavity tooling, making sure design specifications are followed and production processes are optimized.
5. Process Optimization: Troubleshoot production issues, suggest improvements, and collaborate across departments to ensure a smooth manufacturing process.
6. Leadership & Strategy: Lead cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and guide the development team with a focus on customer feedback and continuous product improvement.
7. Project Management: Manage multiple product development projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met, and all teams stay aligned.

Day-to-Day Tasks:

- Oversee product development, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Communicate with customers, gather feedback, and guide adjustments to prototypes.
- Manage testing and revision of prototypes for optimal design and functionality.
- Coordinate with tooling and production teams to ensure smooth transitions between stages.
- Solve production issues in collaboration with other departments.
- Ensure product milestones are on track and on budget.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing preferred).
- Experience: 3-5 years in product development or manufacturing.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of product lifecycle, material properties, tooling, production methods, and 3D modeling.
- Key Competencies: Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills. Ability to juggle multiple projects and adapt quickly.

You'll be at the heart of innovation and process improvement, guiding teams to bring the best products to life.
