Job Responsibilities 1 Ensure safe working environment in plant and enforce operators to adhere safety rule and regulations 2 Process Improvement Identify areas for process improvement throughout the battery manufacturing process to enhance product quality consistency and efficiency Implement tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing to drive continuous improvement initiatives 3 Supplier Quality Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with battery component suppliers Implement supplier quality management processes to assess supplier capabilities monitor performance and ensure the delivery of high-quality materials and components 4 Quality Control Oversee all aspects of quality control including incoming inspection in-process monitoring and final product testing Establish quality control procedures and inspection criteria to verify product conformance to specifications and standards 5 Non-Conformance Management Develop procedures for identifying documenting and addressing non-conformances in product quality or process performance Lead investigations to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions CAPAs to prevent recurrence 6 Risk Management Conduct risk assessments to identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on product quality and customer satisfaction Monitor key quality metrics and performance indicators to proactively address emerging issues 7 Training and Education Provide training and education to employees on quality management principles procedures and best practices Promote a culture of quality awareness and accountability throughout the organization 8 Customer Feedback Management Establish processes for collecting and analyzing customer feedback complaints and returns Use customer feedback to drive product and process improvements and ensure customer satisfaction 9 Regulatory Compliance Stay informed about regulatory requirements and industry standards applicable to lithium-ion battery manufacturing such as AIS 156 Phase-2 UL 1642 and UN 38 3 Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support regulatory submissions as needed 10 Quality Assurance System Development Establish implement and maintain a robust quality management system QMS tailored to the specific requirements of lithium-ion battery manufacturing Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations such as ISO 9001 and AIS 156 Phase-2 11 Audits and Inspections Coordinate internal and external quality audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality standards regulations and customer requirements Prepare for and participate in audits by regulatory agencies customers and certification bodies 12 Documentation and Record Keeping Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records related to quality management activities including quality procedures specifications test results and audit findings 13 Quality Reporting Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on quality performance trends and improvement initiatives Communicate quality-related issues risks and opportunities to stakeholders and drive action plans for improvement 14 Effective Quality Management System Implementation15 Improved Product Quality and Consistency16 Supplier Quality Assurance17 Timely Non-Conformance Resolution18 Quality Culture Promotion19 Customer Satisfaction Enhancement20 Regulatory Compliance Assurance21 Efficient Documentation and Reporting to top management22 Continuous Improvement Initiatives23 Ensure Consumables cost control and maximum utilization of consumables resources24 Ensure Timely receiving of suggestions from the team members25 Develop culture like Safety competition Kaizen work shop Waste walk etcBEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES Achievement Drive - Possesses enthusiasm and desire to meet and exceed objectives and improve performance- Ability to take calculated risks for improving overall Company performanceCrisis Management Skills- Quick response to address a crisis situation drawing on appropriate experience and resource in similar situationsDecision Making- Take action decision consistent with available facts constraints and anticipated consequencesLeadership- Works to improve and reinforce performance of employees facilitates employee skill development by providing performance feedback- Ability to give suggestions for improvement in a manner that builds confidence and improves performance of subordinatesPeople Management Skills- Ability to set priorities delegate motivate and develop employees to become top performers and communicate objectives and goalsOrganizational multi-tasking skills- Able to work on various projects at a time in a systematic and organized mannerEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - Qualification BE Diploma Preferably professionally qualified with Management degree diploma - Experience 16 20 years in related area of Quality and candidate must be from battery background
