Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of Lead Associate, Firmware Engineer

Firmware Engineer is primarily responsible to learns the practical application of engineering principal and will work with a cross-functional team to deliver/maintain the firmware design for medical device. He/She need to lead the new technology introduction, problem investigation, platform definition, practical design, and verification/validation.

Responsibilities

- Experience in Medical systems particularly in CT (Computed Tomography)

- Identify legacy items still dependent on code residing in clearcase

- Migrate all remaining clearcase code to Gitlab environment and integrate artifact delivery to latest process

- Migrate CT applications to latest VxWorks 7 platform and test with seamless integration and delivery into existing products

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams after identifying dependencies to perform effective migrations managing all dependencies

- Take ownership of tasks and deliver, submitting merge requests while helping team members through programming and code reviews

- Perform impact assessment, document verification plans, and organize/execute formal code verification for releases

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or in related STEM Major

- Relevant experience in C/C++ domain & also in embedded software development

- Experience successfully migrating code bases from clearcase to Gitlab environment and testing for effective migration

- Experience with build pipelines, build infrastructure, and formal verification test execution and planning

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

- C, C++, Shell Scripting, Linux Internal, FreeRTOS/VxWorks.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
