Role Title: SAP Datasphere Specialist Location: Noida Role Overview The SAP Datasphere Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing data integration and transformation processes within the SAP Datasphere environment. The role focuses on enabling high-quality, analytics-ready data for business reporting, KPI management, and AI-driven insights. The specialist will collaborate with SAP functional teams, integration experts, and analytics teams to deliver scalable, governed, and efficient data models. Key Responsibilities - Design and implement data ingestion and transformation pipelines from SAP and non-SAP systems into SAP Datasphere. - Develop and maintain data models, semantic layers, and business views to support reporting and analytics. - Ensure data quality, validation, and reconciliation across integrated systems (e.g., SAP Finance, SuccessFactors). - Collaborate with SAP CPI developers and source system owners to define extraction strategies and integration methods. - Implement security and governance frameworks for controlled data access and lineage tracking. - Optimize performance for large data sets and ensure adherence to best practices in data modeling. - Support reporting and analytics enablement for tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Tableau, or Power BI. - Document data architecture, transformation logic, and process workflows for knowledge sharing and audit purposes. - Participate in use case definition for analytics, KPI-driven dashboards, and AI-readiness initiatives. Required Skills & Experience - 6–10 years of experience in data engineering or BI roles, with at least 2+ years in SAP Datasphere (or SAP Data Warehouse Cloud). - Strong understanding of SAP data structures (e.g., S/4HANA Finance, SuccessFactors, or other SAP modules). - Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT techniques, and data transformation scripting. - Experience integrating via SAP CPI, OData, IDoc, or API-based connectors. - Working knowledge of semantic modeling, data governance, and performance optimization in Datasphere. - Familiarity with SAP BTP environment, SAC, or other BI platforms. - Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into data solutions. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Skills - Exposure to AI or predictive analytics use cases within SAP data environments. - Experience with data virtualization or federation techniques. - Knowledge of financial and HR data domains and reporting structures. - Familiarity with cloud and hybrid data architectures (Azure, AWS, or GCP integration with SAP). Educational Qualification - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - SAP or cloud-related certifications (e.g., SAP Datasphere, SAP BTP, or Data Integration) are an added advantage.
