Senior Architect Red Hat OpenShift Engineer Digital Solutions Group - Platform Engineering Full Time Hybrid Serving as a technical thought leader and SME for our ecosystem of partners customers and service providers in the realm of Red Hat OpenShift on AWS ROSA and OpenShift Virtualization on ROSA the Senior Technical Consultant works as part of the consulting team to lead the development design implementation and engagement leader of client solutions Senior Technical Consultants mentor and provide direction to engineers on a project-by-project basis and within the broader organization as it relates to internal initiatives and indirect project support Your Future Employer- AHEAD builds platforms for digital business By weaving together advances in cloud infrastructure automation and analytics and software delivery we help enterprises deliver on the promise of digital transformation At AHEAD we prioritize creating a culture of belonging where all perspectives and voices are represented valued respected and heard We create spaces to empower everyone to speak up make change and drive the culture at AHEAD We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate based on an individual s race national origin colour gender gender identity gender expression sexual orientation religion age disability marital status or any other protected characteristic under applicable law whether actual or perceived Responsibilities Designs and Implements complex mission-critical transformational enterprise-grade Red Hat OpenShift solutions focused on ROSA and OpenShift Virtualization Develops high-quality deliverables and presentations for Client engineering teams and senior leaders Creates and presents solution designs options ideas and innovations to clients senior leadership teams Develops and Maintains Technical Roadmaps and Innovation Plans Designs and implements Kubernetes-based virtualization solutions using OpenShift Virtualizationon ROSA Leads ROSA enablement including networking storage identity integration and platform security with a focus on Kubernetes Networking and AWS cloud services Develops and Implements CI CD solutions using tools like ArgoCD to enable GitOps-driven workflows Establishes project estimates and plans identifies risks and mitigations oversees development and delivery of technical solutions Mentors and supports project teammates fostering skill development in technologies like Red Hat OpenShift ROSA and related tools Actively leads collaboration within our technical communities driving innovation in areas such as OpenShift Virtualization Kubernetes Networking and AWS Optional Leverages expertise in VMware Ansible Terraform Portworx and NetApp to enhance and extend platform capabilities Qualifications Experience and Ability to jump on a whiteboard in front of a customer to develop a solution to a business technology goal or challenge Knowledge of modern cloud-native application design principles DevSecOps Infrastructure as Code IaC CI CD Pipelines Microservices Containers etc Hands-on experience in programming with Python preferred or any other language Excellent written verbal communication and interpersonal skills 9 years of IT experience and 5 years of Cloud DevOps Automation Application Modernization Digital Transformation experience Hands-on experience designing and implementing Platform core services around Compute Storage Networking Databases Containers Security Identity etc Multiple certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Pro AWS DevOps Engineer Pro Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert Azure DevOps Engineer Expert Terraform Associate Etc Familiarity and experience with organizational adoption of transformational initiatives -
