Go Architect (Senior)

Role: Go Architect (gRPC + Microservices)

Experience: 10–15 Years

Location: Remote / Andhra Pradesh

Salary: ₹2,00,000 – ₹3,00,000 per month

About the Role

We are building OTRAS, India's most advanced, next-gen government exam platform designed for 250M+ users annually.

We need a Go Architect who can design ultra-scalable, low-latency, fault-tolerant systems using Go + gRPC.

This is a high-impact core engineering leadership role.

Responsibilities

  • Design and own the complete Go microservices architecture
  • Architect gRPC services, proto contracts, and internal APIs
  • Define domain boundaries, DDD, CQRS, event-driven workflows
  • Build multi-tenant systems (state-based isolation at AP → PAN India scale)
  • Design PostgreSQL sharding + partitioning strategy
  • Implement scalable Kafka-based pipelines
  • Lead the Go engineering team & guide interns
  • Own code quality, performance, SLAs, and availability
  • Implement observability (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana)
  • Work closely with AI/ML, DevOps, and security teams
  • Participate in architecture reviews and deployment design

Required Skills

  • 8+ years backend experience
  • 4+ years Go experience
  • Strong experience in:
  • gRPC
  • protobuf
  • microservices
  • REST/gRPC gateway
  • Kafka
  • PostgreSQL
  • Redis
  • Deep knowledge of concurrency, goroutines, context, channels
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes and cloud deployments
  • Experience designing systems for high concurrency (1M+ users)
  • Knowledge of distributed tracing and logging systems

Good to Have

  • Experience with AI inference integration
  • Knowledge of Istio/Envoy
  • Experience building government-scale systems

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Volunteer

Pay: ₹300, ₹2,080,070.03 per year
