Job Summary The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the resort s maintenance operations to ensure the safety functionality and presentation of all facilities equipment and infrastructure This role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance coordinates with contractors and vendors manages the maintenance team and ensures compliance with safety and environmental standards Key Responsibilities Plan supervise and coordinate the day-to-day maintenance operations of the resort including electrical plumbing HVAC carpentry and general repairs Implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment machinery guest rooms public areas and back-of-house facilities Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies ensuring minimal disruption to guests Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and complies with health safety and environmental standards Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities work orders equipment logs and inventory Manage budgets for repairs maintenance supplies and contractor services Supervise and train the maintenance team ensuring high performance and adherence to safety protocols Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance or major repairs Conduct regular inspections of resort premises to identify areas needing attention Oversee energy conservation initiatives and implement measures to improve efficiency Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to building codes fire safety and environmental laws Provide technical support and input to resort management for capital projects and renovations Key Requirements Diploma Degree in Engineering Mechanical Electrical Civil or related field Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar role preferably in the hospitality industry Strong knowledge of maintenance systems equipment and preventive maintenance programs Hands-on experience with electrical systems HVAC plumbing and general building maintenance Excellent leadership problem-solving and team management skills Ability to manage budgets and control costs Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with vendors and contractors Familiarity with local safety regulations building codes and statutory compliance requirements Flexible to work on-call during weekends and in emergencies as required Job Type Full-time Pay 35 000 00 - 45 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Schedule Day shift Morning shift Supplemental Pay Performance bonus Work Location In person
