Carpenter will be responsible for the repair maintenance and construction of all woodwork and furniture within the hotel premises This includes guest rooms public areas restaurants and back-of-house areas The carpenter ensures all fixtures fittings and structures are safe functional and aesthetically pleasing Key Responsibilities Repair and maintain furniture doors windows cabinets and other wooden fixtures Assemble and install furniture or wooden structures as required Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests or other departments Carry out preventative maintenance on wooden structures and surfaces Coordinate with other maintenance staff for large projects or renovations Maintain a clean and organized work area Maintain inventory of carpentry tools and materials and request supplies as needed Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures Ensure all carpentry work meets hotel standards and guest satisfaction Requirements Proven experience as a carpenter preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting Skilled in using hand and power tools Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Good physical condition and stamina Strong attention to detail Basic understanding of other maintenance skills is a plus High school diploma or technical certification in carpentry or related field Job Type Full-time Pay 18 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Work Location In person
