- Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Carrier Relations:

- Collaborate with ocean carriers to negotiate rates, secure space, and address any operational issues.
- Monitor carrier performance and seek continuous improvement opportunities.

Problem Resolution:

- Proactively identify and address any issues or delays in the transportation process.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to find timely and effective solutions.

Compliance and Regulations:

- Stay informed about industry regulations, trade compliance, and changes in international shipping laws.
- Ensure all shipments adhere to relevant customs and import/export regulations.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in ocean freight operations within the freight forwarding industry.
- Proficient in using freight management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
