Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounts and finance department.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and statutory filings.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Supervise accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
- Monitor cash flow, fund management, and working capital.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team; ensure adherence to best practices and financial policies.
- Develop and implement financial controls and accounting procedures.
- Liaise with banks, financial institutions, vendors, and government authorities as needed.
- Support strategic decisions through financial modeling and data analysis.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional qualification such as CA / CMA / CPA / MBA (Finance) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in accounts and finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (Indian GAAP / IFRS).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
- Experience with audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
