Job Description Why This Role Matters We are looking for a high-impact New Initiatives Lead to drive Vegapay's next phase of growth. This role will focus on shaping and executing key business and product initiatives over the next 6 months, exploring new opportunities, and laying the foundation for future growth tracks. You will work closely with the CEO and CPO and act as the first owner of new strategic bets. The Hats You Will Wear - Lead and execute high-priority projects aligned with Vegapay's 6-month strategic roadmap. - Drive key business and product initiatives from ideation to execution. - Identify, evaluate, and pilot new AI tools, productivity tools, and emerging technologies to enhance internal efficiency and product capabilities. - Explore new offerings, partnerships, and solution areas that can expand Vegapay's product and market horizons. - Act as the first owner for new requirement tracks, taking ideas from concept to structured execution. - Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Business, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and delivery. - Work directly with the CEO and CPO on strategic problem-solving, planning, and decision-making. - Create clarity in ambiguous problem spaces and translate ideas into actionable plans. - Track outcomes, measure impact, and iterate rapidly based on learnings. The Perfect Fit - Strong experience in product, strategy, consulting, or early-stage startup roles. - Proven ability to lead 01 initiatives and work in high-ownership environments. - Strong understanding of fintech, SaaS, or technology-driven businesses (fintech experience is a plus). - Hands-on mindset with the ability to both think strategically and execute tactically. - High curiosity and comfort with exploring AI, automation, and productivity tools. - Ability to work with senior leadership and influence without formal authority. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. He is having more than 20 yrs of experience and has worked with organisations like Zeta, Matchmove, MasterCard, Amex and ICICI Bank. Himanshu Agrawal - Himanshu is the Co-Founder and the Head of Technology. He is from IIT Kanpur and has more than 14 yrs of experience working with organisations like Amazon and DE Shaw. Puneet Sharma - Puneet is the Co-Founder and the Head of Product. He is from IIT Roorkee and has more than 10 years of experience working with organisations like BharatPe, Avail Finance
