The Associate, Cyber Sec Admin will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's cyber security efforts. This position involves monitoring, managing, and enhancing the security posture of our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of security policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
- Support incident response efforts and participate in the resolution of security incidents.
- Maintain and monitor security tools and systems, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members regarding cyber security best practices.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure a cohesive security posture across the organization.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in cyber security administration or a related role.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS.
- Hands-on experience with security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection.
- Basic understanding of network protocols and architectures.
- Knowledge of common cyber threats and attack vectors.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
