Digital Operations for Manufacturing Excellence DOME The Associate Director will lead and manage the technology initiatives for Shop Floor Execution using Tulip ensuring seamless application development data management and integration with broader manufacturing systems This role is responsible for driving digital transformation on the shop floor enabling operational efficiency and supporting data-driven decision-making across manufacturing processes Key Responsibilities What you ll be doing Tulip Application Development o Lead the design development and deployment of applications in Tulip to support shop floor operations o Collaborate with global stakeholders and process owners to translate operational requirements into scalable Tulip solutions o Ensure applications are user-friendly efficient and aligned with manufacturing best practices Data Management Analytics o Oversee the collection validation and management of shop floor data within Tulip o Ensure data accuracy integrity and availability for reporting and analytics o Partner with analytics teams to enable actionable insights for operational improvement System Integration o Drive integration of Tulip with other enterprise systems ERP MES LIMS etc using MuleSoft and other middleware solutions o Ensure seamless data flow between systems to support end-to-end manufacturing execution o Maintain and monitor integration health resolving issues proactively Technology Leadership Strategy o Develop and execute a technology roadmap for shop floor digital transformation o Mentor and guide technical teams in application development data management and integration projects o Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance shop floor execution and overall manufacturing efficiency Governance Compliance o Ensure all solutions comply with regulatory standards data security policies and company IT policies o Maintain proper documentation of applications data flows and integration architecture How you will succeed Building strong collaboration with cross-functional and global teams to ensure alignment and adoption Applying structured project management and agile methodologies to deliver scalable high-quality solutions Using data-driven decision-making to improve shop floor performance and reliability Maintaining proactive monitoring and issue resolution for applications and integrations Driving continuous improvement and innovation through evaluation of new tools and technologies Ensuring compliance traceability and documentation to support audits and regulatory requirements What you should bring Strong expertise in Tulip platform development deployment and other low-code no-code solutions Experience with manufacturing operations MES and shop floor systems Proficiency in data management analytics enablement and integration using tools like MuleSoft Solid understanding of IT governance data security and regulatory compliance Leadership skills to mentor teams and drive digital transformation initiatives Excellent stakeholder management communication and problem-solving abilities Basic Qualifications and Experience Requirement Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering Computer Science Information Systems or related field 12 years of overall experience in the IT Industry with at least 10 years in the pharma industry working with data and minimum 5 years of experience in leading a team Extensive experience in shop floor execution technologies Tulip application development and data management Hands-on experience with MuleSoft or similar integration platforms Strong understanding of manufacturing operations MES ERP and LIMS systems Proven experience in leading cross-functional technology teams and driving complex projects Excellent problem-solving communication and stakeholder management skills Additional Skills Preferences Knowledge of industrial IoT digital manufacturing and smart factory concepts Experience with data analytics platforms and reporting tools Strong strategic thinking and ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives Additional Information N A Lilly is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities to actively engage in the workforce ensuring equal opportunities when vying for positions If you require accommodation to submit a resume for a position at Lilly please complete the accommodation request form for further assistance Please note this is for individuals to request an accommodation as part of the application process and any other correspondence will not receive a response Lilly does not discriminate on the basis of age race color religion gender sexual orientation gender identity gender expression national origin protected veteran status disability or any other legally protected status WeAreLilly
