Job Description

About The Opportunity

A dynamic player in the residential and commercial interior design & fit-out sector, delivering turnkey interior consultancy, space planning, and on-site execution for projects across India. We specialise in end-to-end design solutionsfrom concept and detailed drawings to procurement, site supervision and client deliveryserving premium residential, retail and corporate clients. This on-site role is ideal for a hands-on Interior Design Consultant who combines strong client-facing skills with technical drawing and execution experience.

Role & Responsibilities

- Lead client consultations to capture brief, functional requirements, budget and design intent; translate into concepts and presentation materials (moodboards, schematic plans).
- Produce and deliver accurate technical drawingsfloor plans, elevations, sections and detailed joineryusing AutoCAD and collaborate on 3D renderings for client approvals.
- Develop BOQs, cost estimates and material/FF&E specifications; coordinate with procurement and suppliers to source finishes and fixtures within budget.
- Manage on-site implementation: supervise contractors, monitor quality, track progress against schedules, and ensure health & safety and compliance on site.
- Coordinate across cross-functional teamsproject managers, architects, MEP and vendorsto resolve design-to-build challenges and deliver projects on time.
- Maintain accurate project documentation (RFI, site instructions, snag lists) and handover packages to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.

Skills & Qualifications

- Must-Have
- Diploma/degree in Interior Design, Architecture or equivalent with 3+ years of on-site interior design & execution experience.
- Proven proficiency in AutoCAD and strong working knowledge of space planning and technical detailing.
- Hands-on site supervision experience, vendor management, BOQ preparation and basic cost estimation.
- Good client-facing and communication skills; able to present design rationale and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Familiarity with materials, finishes, joinery, FF&E and quality control processes.
- Preferred
- Experience with Revit and SketchUp or other 3D modelling tools; exposure to rendering tools (V-Ray/Enscape) is a plus.
- Prior experience delivering high-end residential, retail or hospitality fit-outs; knowledge of local building codes and MEP coordination.
