Job Title: SharePoint Intranet Designer & SPFx Developer Location: Remote Experience: 3-7 years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Intranet Designer & SPFx Developer to design, develop, and maintain modern intranet portals using SharePoint Online and the SharePoint Framework (SPFx). The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with an eye for user experience (UX) and design, ensuring our intranet is visually engaging, intuitive, and aligned with organizational branding. Key Responsibilities - Design and implement modern SharePoint Online intranet sites, including team sites, communication sites, and hub sites. - Develop custom SPFx web parts, extensions, and applications tailored to business needs. - Implement responsive page layouts, templates, and branding for a consistent intranet experience. - Configure and manage document libraries, lists, metadata, and workflows to optimize content management. - Integrate intranet components with Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate, Viva Connections). - Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing, user-friendly intranet pages. - Customize SharePoint search, navigation, and personalization features for enhanced usability. - Ensure security, permissions, and compliance best practices in intranet design. - Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade SharePoint intranet solutions. - Stay up to date with the latest SharePoint Online features, SPFx updates, and Microsoft 365 innovations. Required Skills & Competencies - SharePoint Online: Modern pages, communication sites, team sites, web parts, lists, libraries. - SPFx Development: Web parts, extensions, custom solutions using TypeScript, React, JavaScript, and CSS. - Front-End Development: HTML5, CSS3, React, JSON, REST API integration. - Microsoft 365 Integration: Teams, Power Automate, Power Apps, Viva Connections, Graph API. - UX & UI Design: Knowledge of designing responsive, user-friendly intranet portals. - Branding & Theming: Implementing organizational branding and design consistency. - Workflow & Automation: Using Power Automate and SharePoint Designer workflows. - Security & Governance: Implementing permissions, data classification, and compliance measures. - Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Debugging SPFx solutions, managing large-scale intranet content.
