Senior Public Relations Consultant (Mumbai In-Office)

Core Responsibilities

Client & Media Relations

- Liaise daily with clients and the media via telephone and email
- Build strong relationships and networks with colleagues, clients, media, and marketing teams
- Manage the PR aspect of a possible crisis
- Manage client expectations and ensure 100% client retention
- Provide clients with information about new promotional opportunities and PR campaign progress

Media Monitoring & Coverage

- Monitor media (traditional and digital), including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, social media, podcasts, blogs, and newswires
- Collate, analyse, and evaluate media coverage
- Track newspapers, magazines, and websites for opportunities

Publicity & Campaign Management

- Plan publicity strategies and campaigns
- Strategize, enable execution, and create quarterly roadmaps
- Prepare briefs, scripts, campaign taglines, and responses for interviews
- Write and disseminate press releases, articles, and features to targeted media
- Promote news stories and features (selling in)
- Write and produce presentations, in-house magazines, brochures, reports, and promotional materials
- Document all campaigns, testimonials, and coverage
- Design and manage publicity brochures, websites, and promotional videos when budgets are allocated

Event Management

- Organize and manage press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours, and visits
- Attend and promote client events to media and PR platforms
- Coordinate studio or location photography
- Speak publicly at interviews, conferences, and presentations

Brand Development

- Develop and foster relationships with brands and 3rd parties on behalf of ESSC
- Develop quarterly and annual roadmaps in line with client business goals
- Leverage partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising opportunities
- Liaise with marketing team to create cross-channel strategies

Influencer & Thought Leadership Engagement

- Build relationships with industry leaders to grow awareness
- Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and influencer activities
- Conduct trend forecasting for clients and their industries

Research & Analysis

- Commission and undertake market research
- Research new business proposals and present to potential clients
- Analyze industry trends affecting clients and recommend communication strategies

Team Contribution

- Motivate the team and encourage a friendly, open work environment
- Maintain a network of resources to deploy when needed
- Ensure proper documentation across all initiatives
