About the job At Minutes to Seconds we match people with great skills with tailor-fitted jobs to achieve well-deserved success We know how to match people to the right job roles to create that perfect fit This changes the dynamics of business success and catalyzes the growth of individuals Our aim is to provide both our candidates and clients with great opportunities and the ideal fit every time We re passionate about doing an incredible job for our clients and job seekers Our success is determined by the success of individuals in the workplace We would love the opportunity to work with YOU Minutes to Seconds is looking for a part-time Accountant with Admin skills and knowledge of Australian accounting in a Contract role in India Its a 100 remote WFH opportunity Requirements We are looking for a proactive Part-Time Accountant with administrative skills to support our Australian operations from India This role requires working in the early morning hours to align with Australian time zones The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Australian accounting rules and hands-on experience with tools such as Xero MYOB or QuickBooks Key Responsibilities Accounting Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial transactions Handle accounts payable receivable bank reconciliations and expense tracking Prepare and assist with BAS GST and payroll compliance Support month-end and year-end closing activities Generate financial reports and share with the Australian team Administration Manage emails scheduling and coordination with the Australian team Prepare invoices reports and maintain documentation Assist in vendor and client communications as needed Provide general administrative support to management Required Skills Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field 2-4 years of accounting experience preferably with Australian clients companies Strong knowledge of Australian accounting rules and compliance BAS GST payroll superannuation Hands-on experience with Xero MYOB or QuickBooks Proficiency in MS Excel and other office tools Strong communication skills in English written and verbal Ability to balance accounting and administrative responsibilities Must be willing to work early morning hours to align with Australian business hours Preferred Qualifications Prior experience working with Australian businesses Knowledge of consulting staffing industry accounting Familiarity with remote collaboration tools Zoom Teams Slack etc
