Company Description AECOM s Enterprise Capabilities team is looking for an Senior Designer - Plant 3D I C Water -STP Desalination to join our team in Bengaluru Mumbai Gurugram About Enterprise Capabilities Fundamental to our Think and Act Globally strategy and digital adoption Enterprise Capabilities EC is AECOM s primary vehicle for workshare Operating across geographic boundaries and time-zones EC partners with regional and Global Business Line project teams to provide technical expertise accelerate delivery and keep AECOM competitive in the industry With a team of over 3000 technical professionals located across nine countries and remote technical anchors EC teams are trusted to deliver high-quality specialist services that help to fill capability gaps resourcing needs and technical constraints on projects of all scopes and sizes Start here Grow here Design and develop instrumentation systems for water wastewater and desalination projects using Revit and or Plant 3D software Create and modify technical drawings and models based on verbal and visual instructions from project managers and engineers Manage work-sets and control visibility in Revit and or Plant 3D models to ensure efficient collaboration with team members Utilize various parameters in Revit and or Plant 3D families and schedules to optimize design processes Integrate specifications into models using Revit and or Plant 3D ensuring compliance with project requirements Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate instrumentation designs with other engineering disciplines Perform quality control checks on instrumentation designs and drawings to maintain high standards of accuracy Assist in the development of instrumentation design standards and best practices for the organization Provide technical support and mentorship to junior designers and drafters Participate in client meetings to present instrumentation designs and address technical queries Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in water wastewater and desalination instrumentation systems Contribute to the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates for instrumentation components Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during project execution phases Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards codes and regulations Qualifications Roles and responsibilities Diploma or equivalent education in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college institute or university 7 - 10 Years of experience in wastewater water industry Working Experience using Revit and or Plant 3D and AutoCAD for water market-related designs Drafting course from a recognised institute Working experience using REVIT AutoCAD and Microstation Professional registration in their designated home office country or be in active pursuit of such registration Demonstrated proficiency in instrumentation design for water wastewater and desalination projects Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to water and wastewater instrumentation Experience with project management and coordination in multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and presentation skills for client interactions Familiarity with equipment specifications and procurement processes for instrumentation systems Ability to mentor junior designers and contribute to team development Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Additional Information At AECOM you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity Our Freedom to Grow hybrid working philosophy is the cornerstone of our success as a business -
