About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager Operations with a strong background in the Greek merchandise or apparel industry to lead and optimize our operational processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large teams, identifying process inefficiencies, improving workflow performance, and maintaining top-tier quality and accountability across departments. This role requires a hands-on operations leader who thrives on structure, analytics, and people developmentsomeone who can both drive daily operational excellence and strategically plan for long-term growth. Key Responsibilities: Team Management & Performance - Lead and supervise a large, cross-functional operations team with clear daily, weekly, and quarterly performance targets. - Conduct regular check-ins and feedback sessions with team members to ensure alignment, motivation, and accountability. - Define and monitor KPIs for efficiency, quality, and delivery timelines; track and report team progress through weekly dashboards. Process Optimization & Quality Control - Analyze existing operational workflows to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and quality gaps. - Implement systematic process improvements to enhance speed, accuracy, and productivity. - Conduct regular quality audits to ensure operational excellence and adherence to company standards. Strategic Planning & Reviews - Set quarterly goals for all team members in alignment with company objectives. - Conduct bi-annual performance reviews to evaluate individual and team growth, and identify future development plans. - Collaborate with leadership to design and implement scalable systems that support growth in the Greek merchandise sector. Reporting & Communication - Provide structured weekly updates on operational performance, process improvements, and team outcomes. - Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth coordination across production, supply chain, and customer service. Key Requirements: - 35+ years of experience in Operations Management or Assistant Manager roles, preferably within the Greek merchandise or custom apparel industry. - Proven ability to manage and motivate large teams (1050+ members) across multiple functions. - Strong understanding of operational KPIs, performance analysis, and process mapping. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsable to diagnose and resolve inefficiencies quickly. - Skilled in goal setting, feedback delivery, and performance tracking. - Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, project management tools (Monday.com, Asana, or Trello), and communication platforms (Slack, Gmail, etc.). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
